The Doha Singers is Qatar's largest and oldest amateur choir, tracing its roots back to 1993 when it was formed by Rev Ian Young, and brings a wide range of choral music to members and audience alike.

We are a 4 part adult choir (SATB) with a membership of between 80 and 100 singers. Our repertoire is a wide one, with a mixture of modern and older pieces, both sacred and secular.

We give 2 main concerts per year: Festive music in December and a more secular programme in May.  In recent years, we have shared the stage with the Doha Community Orchestra and the Doha Youth Choir.

Joining the Choir

New members are always welcome to join the choir and we particularly welcome tenors and basses.  For more information on rehearsals and how to join the choir, please see the joining the choir page.

Our next concerts

Relive the magical movie moments with us as we bring to you the best of the Hollywood movies through our upcoming concert, Movie Magic on May 19th at the QNCC.

This spring concert is even bigger and grander as we join voices with the AFCENTS of the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Band.

Watch out for this space to do your advance ticket bookings!
